LyricSlideshow is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.

Data Collection

LyricSlideshow processes the following data:

• On your device only: LRC lyrics files, audio files, photos, and videos you assign to cue points. None of this data is uploaded.
• Sign in with Apple: when you use the lyrics-generation feature, the app requests Sign in with Apple. We receive only an opaque identifier (Apple's sub claim) plus a short-lived signed token. We do not request your name or email address. The opaque identifier is used solely to enforce per-user rate limits on the lyrics API and is stored on the server in volatile memory.
• Lyrics-generation requests: the text descriptions you write for each photo/video are sent to our backend (Cloudflare Workers) and forwarded to Google's Gemini API to generate lyrics. Requests are not logged after they are answered.

Data Processing

The app processes the following data locally on your device:

• LRC lyrics files you import
• Audio files you select
• Photos and videos you assign to cue points

This data is used solely to generate your slideshow video and is never sent to any server.

On-Device AI Transcription

The app includes an optional audio transcription feature powered by on-device AI (WhisperKit). Audio transcription is performed entirely on your device. No audio data is sent to external servers.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services for the lyrics-generation feature only:

• Sign in with Apple — handled by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare Workers — runs the lyrics API endpoint. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Gemini API — generates lyrics from your text descriptions. See Google's Privacy Policy.

LyricSlideshow does not integrate with any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

All project data is stored locally on your device. The app does not use cloud storage or sync services. Exported videos are saved to your device's local storage.

Children's Privacy

The app does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
